Awful defending led to an inept performance.
Couldn't make a break through so pass back to Butland and hoof it forward. His kick always went into touch or straight onto the head of a Portuguese. I feared this when Stones was injured.
No player from the back capable of coming forward and Lingard just hasn't got a clue.
